100% Hibiscus from Honduras—no blend. Our hibiscus leaves are manually collected, dehydrated and packaged by a Honduran family company, Ópalo, which hires mostly women, including single mothers.

Prevalent in Honduras, the gorgeous hibiscus flower has wondrous health and anti-inflammatory properties: rich in antioxidants such as beta-carotene, vitamin C and anthocyanin, it may be used to relieve high blood pressure, kidney stones, fevers, inflammation of the gums, and to lower cholesterol.

Tart, flowery, acidic and sour, it carries notes of cranberry. Consume it as a herbal tea or blend it with your favourite spices.
